GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Each Booking, however made, even through third party sales producers, declares that the person making it has understood and accepts all the terms and conditions included on this website.

This acceptance binds him and the persons accompanying him or on whose behalf he made the reservation.

Please read the terms below before booking. We are at your disposal for any question.

Charges / Prices

You will never be asked for your credit card details by Amalia staff Studios , whether you are a visitor to our website or a possible guest.

Our payment methods for any amount are set out exclusively below in the paragraph headed “Payments”.

No room reservation is made and no reservation is considered final, until its payment is documented or the payment of the deposit specified for the reservation has been made.

Prices quoted anywhere are understood and will be charged in EUROS. They include VAT and all taxes.

Room rates are per room, per night for two people of any age and do not include breakfast and any goods, drinks, amenities and services the hotel promises from time to time as part of the hospitality it provides. Additional meals, drinks, products and services are included only if expressly agreed. Additional persons, of any age, are charged the same amount as provided in the Pricing, Payments and Cancellations Policy.

Minimum number of nights, advance payment, charge in case of cancellation, prepayment with or without right of return in case of cancellation, and other conditions may apply if expressly stated.

When accommodation in a specific room, the number of persons and nights, any additional products and services, as well as the method of payment has been agreed, the Hotel will contact you in writing to summarize the details of your reservation, the charges and the required full or partial payment.

When the above payment is demonstrably made, the Booking is confirmed by the Hotel and constitutes a binding agreement.

Customers who wish to issue an Invoice for the cost of their stay and/or other services and goods, are requested to declare it during the Booking, or, at the latest, upon their arrival.

Check-In / Check-Out

Our guests promise to inform us of their expected arrival time at least 36 hours in advance. This information is necessary for the more efficient organization of our program and for the faster process of receiving them.

Unconfirmed bookings will be valid until 16:00 on the day of arrival, at which point we will have the right to make the room available, unless the guest has informed us of a late arrival.

Unless otherwise stated in the Booking Confirmation, guests can check-in on the day of arrival any time between 14:00 and 22:00 . In any case, provided you inform us in time, we gladly accept your check-in at any time dictated by your arrival in Naxos.

Late arrivals due to unforeseen events must be notified to us no later than 23:00 on the day of arrival.

Those rooms that have been reserved with an advance or prepayment or for which there is written correspondence with a travel agency will remain at the customer’s disposal until 23:00 on the day of arrival, unless there is a different agreement.

Guests are requested to vacate their room by 11:00 on the day of departure , unless late check out is included in our agreement. Check-out after 11:00 can be arranged if the room is available. The relevant charge is at the discretion of the hotel.

We are obliged by the Authorities to request confirmation and recording of the identity or passport details of the visitors, as well as the address of their permanent residence, during check-in. For this purpose, the presentation of the above documents is required.

The same information must be provided for all persons staying with you. We have an obligation to refuse entry to people who cannot provide us with the above information. These data will only be given to the Greek Police and Tax Authorities and only if requested in accordance with the Law.

Part of the information and data will be stored on a secure server, protected by a firewall and accessible only with a password. It will be used by the Hotel for its own statistical processing only. No item or information will be given to any third party without your approval, except for the stated Authorities.

Payments

We accept the following payment methods:

CREDIT CARDS: only through Nexi E – Commerce with Visa , Mastercard , Diners International
TRANSFER: to our company’s bank account
CASH: up to the amount of €1,500, during your stay at the Hotel or upon departure.
We never ask our prospective customers or clients for their credit card details. If for any reason and in any way such information becomes known to us, it will not be stored.

The entire amount due must be paid before departure from the Hotel.

 Cancellation & No-Shows Policy

The charge for cancellations may vary depending on the price agreed at the time of booking and the time of year. Please inquire in detail at the time of your own booking.

A possible charge for cancellation or no show will be made only when this is necessary. The amount will be deducted from the advance or prepayment amount. The collection of any excess amount, in case of refusal of payment, will be done after consultation or, if this is impossible, will be achieved by any legal means.

Amounts for bookings agreed without the right to cancel or change are prepaid at the time of booking in any of the ways mentioned above. In these cases, if there is a cancellation or no show, the Hotel keeps the entire amount paid.

If a cancellation is made at least 21 days before the stay, 100% of the money is returned. If the cancellation is not made until 21 days before the stay, up to 50% of the total cost of the reservation is paid. In case a guest wants to stay fewer days than the days of the original reservation, he must have informed at least 21 days before and he will not have any charge. If he does not notify in time (21 days before), compensation is paid up to 50% of the agreement.

Changes or cancellations by the Hotel

If we are forced to cancel a confirmed reservation, this decision will be due to exceptional circumstances, the prediction of which was impossible. In this case you will be informed immediately, you will be refunded all the money paid and/or any charge made to your credit card will be revoked. Apart from this refund, the Hotel bears no other responsibility. We will make every effort to secure for you accommodation similar to ours and offer you every facility.

Your reservation is for a specific suite. In the event that, for security or technical reasons, you are required to stay in a suite other than the one you have selected, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. It is understood that we will refund any difference if the suite you are to stay in is cheaper, and that you will not be charged extra if it is more expensive.

Damages & Losses

We have the right, which you acknowledge with your booking and you provide the relevant authorization, to make a charge and request our compensation, for any damage caused to your room or the Hotel due to the fault of the occupants of your room (including special cleaning and deodorization costs , dry cleaners and laundry) or for any item whose loss is discovered by the staff during your stay or after your departure. The collection of any amount, in case of refusal of payment, will be achieved by any legal means.

Events

Please note that your stay may coincide with an event, reception, wedding dinner, family or corporate gathering. In any case, it will be a limited number of people. We always ensure that, if there is any disturbance, it is minimal for our guests who are not participating in the particular event. If you consider such an event during your stay to be undesirable, please contact us for more information.

Special Offers, Promotions, Deals on Booking

Offers and promotions are subject to availability and other, more specific terms, conditions and restrictions, which are stated on the Hotel website and elsewhere. We have the right to announce, modify and withdraw any offer, action or related program at any time.

The persons making each reservation must, before or at the latest upon the arrival of the guests, inform the hotel which of the contents of the special offers, promotions and agreements concerning the specific reservation they wish to take place and on which day and time of the stay their. Otherwise, it is assumed that the guests do not wish to carry out part or all of the contents and the Hotel is not obliged to provide them.

Visitor Behavior

Respect for our staff and guests, but also for Amalia ‘s reputation, name and property Studios , are extremely important to us.

All our guests are asked to take these values into account and behave accordingly at all times.
They are also requested not to disturb or insult in any way the members of the staff and the other guests, not to hinder the smooth operation of the hotel and to fully respect the provisions mentioned herein.

We have the right to refuse hospitality and the provision of services, but also to request the removal of anyone from the Hotel, if we reasonably believe that this condition has been violated.

In the same case, we have the right to pursue in any legal way the protection of our reputation, customers and property as well as our compensation for any positive and consequential damage, while we have no obligation to return money for hospitality or services that we refused to provide, nor to pay any compensation.

Smoking

SMOKING IS PROHIBITED IN ALL SUITES (INDOOR AREAS). There are no suites where any form of smoking or “vaping” is allowed.

Guests who use tobacco products and/or any kind of substitutes in the suites are clearly in violation of this and are responsible for any positive or consequential damage to the hotel, including loss of revenue.
If they persist in exhibiting this behavior, they will be asked to leave.

Children

The Hotel is not designed for the accommodation of children. It does not have suitable spaces and does not meet the necessary conditions that would ensure the safety of the children and the peace of the other guests.

Therefore, it is impossible to accommodate children under 17 years of age. Exceptions are reservations for the entire hotel and cases in which, exceptionally and for social reasons, the particular circumstances and needs of a child must be taken into account.

In these exceptional cases, the person making the reservation has full responsibility for all matters concerning the safety and behavior of the children, as well as the peace desired by the rest of our guests.

Please also note that there are no discounts for minor guests.

Pets

Pets in the Amalia business Studios will not be accepted unfortunately.

Personal Data, Security Cameras, Incoming Calls

The Hotel acts in full compliance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

Cameras have been installed and operate only in the common areas and on the facades of the Hotel. Incoming phone calls to the hotel (with the exception of those made to the rooms) are recorded. Recorded images and calls are used solely for quality and security purposes, are retained for 12 days, after which they are permanently destroyed, unless it is deemed necessary to retain a particular recording for a longer period of time and for specific reasons.

Force majeure

The Hotel is not responsible and will not pay compensation in cases where the fulfillment of its obligations is precluded or affected immediately or indirectly by reasons of force majeure or other situations outside its sphere of control.

Limitation of Liability

The Hotel is not responsible for the loss or damage of valuables and valuables or the loss of money located on its premises, unless they have been handed over to the Management for safekeeping and a detailed and signed receipt has been issued.

The Hotel is not responsible for any indirect or consequential damage of any kind, whether caused by the negligence of its employees or otherwise. The total compensation payable by the hotel will not exceed the total amount charged for the customer’s reservation, excluding cases of injury or death caused by the hotel’s negligence.

Applicable Law & Competent Courts

The relations between the hotel, users of its website, visitors and guests as well as the obligations and rights related to them are regulated by Greek Law.

The courts of Naxos have exclusive jurisdiction to judge and adjudicate any relevant case. The parties irrevocably and unconditionally accept this authority and waive any related opposition.
